Halo 3 BETA

Hey Xbox 360 owners (and "OTHERS!") :P

Just wondering if any of you have a BETA code for the Halo 3 BETA release, out sometime in Spring. If you have then try and post your gamertag below so I can have a little game with you when it is out, anyway straight to the point. I'm wondering what your expectations are of Halo 3 BETA, I'm expecting great things as just looking at the Bungie site they're adding ripple effects when you crash in the water which sounds excellent. Also what you think about the whole Legendary, Limited and Regular edition versions of Halo 3? Will you be getting a Legendary edition with the cool helmet/disc holder (because I will!)

Yeah buy Crackdown, make sure it has a Halo 3 BETA sticker on it's case and you're guaranteed one. :) My gamertag is Pyroka159 for whoever wants to add me by the way, I do sometimes play Halo 2 but I'm always on Gears hehe. I won a BETA code off a website.. And another off a different website. Not sure whether I'll get two codes haha. :P Halo 2 rocks for whoever disses it, so like.. You're odd. I cant get the legendary edition yet but I will soon, I'll reserve it in GAME ^^ Cant wait for BETA, really I can't.

got me a code. i dont think i will buy the limited edition one since its £129.99 just for a model helet which u cant wear( not sure if it true) and two discs with behind the scene things.

im hoping for the map with the gate on it its like grass/desert setting with a base i think with a main gate. dunno the name but i sure hope the mongoose (think thats it) is on it so me and a mate can do some hit and runs

In America the Legendary should cost like $250, just the normal game $70 but not Legendary xD

To my knowledge it is only about 3 hours.

3 HOURS?! I seriously doubt that, I'd say more like 2 weeks dude. I've heard of the time limit though and I think its around a week/two weeks, that'd be sensible for Bungie. Seen the site you mentioned, good site. ^^

I doubt it, a few weeks maybe but no way they will limit it to only 3 hours, it would probably take like 15 minutes to download it, and only 3 hours will mean only about quarter of the beta testers will actually get to play

15 mins to download are you smoking something, as soon as halo 3 beta becomes avalible to download nearly everyone in the world is going to download. imagine the pressure on the servers, give it more like 24 hours to download.

If you're lucky then yea 15 mins :P it depends how big it is really, I'm gonna guess something like 500Mb-1Gb but who knows, I should have much better internet then so I might be able to get it faster than I can now xD

your broadband speed might help abit but like i said the servers are going to have to handle alot so it make take along time

Lol, it only takes about 20 mins to download 1Gb files for me atm :P

I don't actually know the speed, my dad never told me :S I'm pretty sure my ISP is Virgin Media though, and I can download 1Gb that fast :P I downloaded the south park episode which is 1Gb in that time xD
