i am thinking of making a news system where by you can add news edit news and delete news. Also be able to put it in different catagories and show it in groups on your site.
Is this a good idea, and will it be hard?
P.S it won't be released.
Post your thoughts and comments please
Thanks
Ash
why do you want our thoughts if it's not going to be released?

Basic news systems are the most easiest thing to do with PHP.
You type a title, a sub-header, write a short story, a full story, select a category all on one page with forms.
Then that all gets inserted into the appropiate columns in an SQL DB.
Then on the view.php page you just show the titles and sub-headers accordingly to the category the user has chosen.

Should be a good little project for you to do. I wish you luck and I don't think it will be too hard.... :)
