I really want a 360 now...

I've played a 360 before, but never more than 30 minutes or so.
I've always kind of wanted one, but my friend has one and he brought it over. We hooked it up to the internet and started playing Live. I was astonished of how addictive it was. We played for 5 hours at night and then all day the next day. :D AND I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEYYY!!!

Anyone else in a similar dilemma?

azul i used xbox live silver and look at other post to see games i have that are "good"

Xbox Live silver is crap, you can't play online with silver. To get the most of your 360 get a gold Live account.

Yeah, I heard about the new 360 (Zephyr) a while back.

Its supposedly going to be quieter, Have a better processor, Better temperature control, HDMI Port (For true High Def) and of course The 120GB HDD

It is brilliant on Xbox Live, I love it xD

But the only bad thing is I don't have HD. The best I can get is 480p but I could really care less.

And yeah - you really need more than a silver live account. Online gaming pwns. I really like the voice chat. I hope Wii has something similar (although I REALLYY doubt it)

Sony is trying their best though.
You do have to appreciate how they have made a free online system, but I agree that Live is much better.

PS Home will have some VERY mature stuff on it. O_O Big cyber party anyone?

if you can afford to buy a game every so often and get xbox live gold every month, then they're amazing. i was impressed with mine, but when i invested in rainbow six vegas and 12 months gold subscription, i fell in love :]

I disagree with the first half of this statement. All microsoft did was what they do with pcs, id say the pc set the standard and the 360 has risen to it and its time for the other consoles to do the same. Wii and Ps3 may reach it with all wiis programs like wii votes, news, browser and of course online play which is ace on the ds. Ps3 and Ps3 home may do. I think the wii will have voice chat as nintendo can probably see its becoming an important part of gaming and are introducting it on the ds with diddy kong racing, metroid etc. In fact they are releasing an official ds headset later this month.
