hey all, i need some opinions on this...

out of all the accomplishment capes... i like the quest cape more than any other, particularly the emote, its by far the best imo

so, would it be worth ruining my pure (which is actually my main aswell) to complete (well..try to) all the quests to get this cape?

if you are wondering what sort of pure i have, its an initiate pure

exactly, a lot of the easy quests give xp that would spoil my pure, and take it way past the 20 def that i currently have.

even if i do decide to go for the quest cape, i can always make a new account, or turn this into an all-rounder account rather than an initiate pure.

so many decisions to make >.<

Alot of quests have def xp rewards.

I wouldnt, quest cape IMO is the worst to get, gotta do every singloe new quest that comes out aswell, at least with a 99 cape you know you got it for good.

a valid point...

but getting the cape would mean that i would have something to do once in a while.

personally i like doing quests, so it doesnt really matter much that i would have to do each new quest as it came out to get to keep the cape

If they're low then may as well. If you got like 90 or summit strength getting 45 defence (ideally) or even 70 defence isn't dreadful.

wat is so gd about being a pure? tis confuses me. WOuldnt it be betta to ave all ur skills high?

What i would say is be a rune pure that way you can still get the cape and still be a pure?

i saw lvl 78 with quest cape but i think he had over 60 def but if i was you i would keep my pure as i pk with it but if you ont pk with it then you could od it?

I wouldn't, because quest cape isn't that good. If you have a quest cape and a 99 stat, you can't trim it. If a new quest comes out, you can't wear it. (and that quest might be hard) Overall, it takes a lot of time to maintain a quest cape and keep on top of the new quests, as well as doing all the current ones.

Pures are much more fun in my view, but each to their own. :)

I wouldnt ruin the pure. But if you do want to get quest cape badly just become a rune pure with 40 defence, i have been told there really good pures to be.

as good as rune pures might be... ive been told and seen for myself that initiate pures are better...

for instance.. if i keep my 20 def, i can afford to have a much higher str or attack level, and still have the same combat level as an average rune pure.

to put it one way, i could get..

60 attack (for dds spec)
99 str
52 prayer
99 mage
99 range
20 def

and have a combat level of around 85-86

i admit, it would take a LONG time to achieve those stats.. but correct me if im wrong, that would be a really good account to either stake or pk on

you could like do the quests and that then get like 60 str 80 att and 80 def or sumthing

I had this same trouble when i was a rune pure.I decided to get the cape, became a barrows pure, and now i dont regret it.I love barrows pureing so mutch.
