View Full Version : My eating pattern is all messed up
Well i don`t know why but i don`t get hungry at the right times and i don`t think i eat the right kind of foods.
For example friday i had nothing for breakfast , a flapjack at lunch and then curry at about 11 oclock at night.
Then today i had turkey sandwiche for breakfast , nothing for lunch and nothing for dinner.
Its anoying me 'coz i hardly ever eat 'proper food' its always like sandwiches n stuff.
Also am starting to feel bloated all the time lately even when iv not eaten anything then when i make food i don`t feel like eating it any more.
Whats up with me :(

Maybe it's because you're having small meals, which shrinks your stomach making you less hungry and a very mixed eating pattern.
Try eating something for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the right times, maybe it'll get back into routine, if not, I'd go to the doctors to ask for some advice on it. <3

Because your not eating you are feeling bloated - therefore eat food. I know that sometimes you may be put off once you make the food and stuff, but you really just need to force yourself to eat it to be honest...
I think the problem is your lack of a routine.
Most people are brought up with the routine of having breakfast in the morning, lunch around midday then dinner around 4-6pm. Therefore, the majority of people are hungry for food at around these times.
Think about it - if you got your dinner at 8pm every day for the next year, eventually your body would become used to that and you wouldn't be wanting food until that time.
I think you really need to get yourself into a routine and simply stick to it until you get your eating pattern back on track.
Make yourself a wee timetable, building in enough time for each meal - including preparation times. Maybe half an hour for breakfast, and hour for lunch and an hour for dinner - or something.
Sort it around your schedule - but make sure you are having these 3 extremely vital meals around roughly the same time each day. Even if your not particularly hungry try and just eat something, to train your body back into a routine...

Just get in habit of having your meals at the right times, just start with having small meals at that times, and control yourself and eventually you'll get used to it :)
