the ps3 obviously wont sell that many in a short time because not alot of people can afford that straight away. they said on the bbc it will be a slow burner and sell alot over a period of time

Tbh these price things don't mean anything in my opinion, it's just a console =/ amount of sales depends on how many people are willing to pay whatever price for the console

No they're not. The way sales figures are tracked on that site is a bit disjointed from what actually goes on.

And what do you mean by "levelled out"? The Wii is still sold out in pretty much the whole of the UK and large swathes of the US.

But the PSP had the best-selling launch weekend for any platform in its first weekend. And now it's getting owned by the DS.
