Really bad throat

I've had a proper bad throat since sunday morning i can barely swallow and seriously when i cough it feels like im having a baby through my mouth (Yh, it hurts big time)

I tryed drinking hot ribena apparently that sooths it, my butt.
Tryed soothers n lockets, they dont work...

What else can i do.

When i was about 7 I had a bad throat & went to see the doctor as my throat had practically closed up & I collapsed. I was told I had qunzi (worse than tonsilitis) You better see a Doctor ASAP as if it is this condition they need to catch it before you start struggling for breath as it could be very serious. ;l
