Kerrang or NME?

nme. i buy it pretty much every week. i used to buy kerrang last year, then i got bored of that music type and got bored of the magazine always featuring mcr, fall out boy or panic! each week.

I don't read often but sometimes Iget Kerrang but most of time it is NME :P

kerrnag! talks about rubbish music most of the time. nme talk about good music most of the time but they are such lazy journalists and bum every next big thing so badly which gets tiresome after a while.

if i had to choose i would go for nme i suppose.

They both feature the same artists on their front covers ever issue, so I go for any magazine I like the look of. Basically I buy any random magazine depending on who's going to feature in it. Q, Metal Hammer, Rolling Stone, Kerrang, NME, RockSound, a bit of everything really.

yeh, the thing with nme is when they think they've found a band thats gonna be huge, they always somehow find ways of slipping them into every article. they did it with arctic monkeys, and im sure they'll find a new band to promote as heavily as they have in the past.
i personally prefer kerrang coz it covers music i like :p

yeah but it's not like nme jump on bandwagons really, they generally launch bands popularity (for instance klaxons, and right now the twang)

i sometimes read nme at break or lunch with my friend who buys it tho.

I buy NME most weeks.. and Kerrang I just get if I like the look of who's on the cover.

I sometimes buy both mags. Depends who's featured really, although I'll usually tend to buy Kerrang instead of NME if I just get one. I must admit Kerrang show a lot of bands regularly, but if they are the "in" bands then they will feature them in their mag so that the magazine sells - meaning they can make more profits to continue the magazine/television etc. However NME also often features a lot of the same bands. But they're both good mags.
