I was wondering, maybe you should put a limit to how many posts/threads a guest on the forum can see, once the limit is over he is redirected to the register part, or told on a page that he was reeched the amount he can view and must register, good idea/bad idea?

tbh habbox gains new members per day, so nothing needs to be added,changed. works fine. ;)

5 new members today, roughly each day so just in one week there's about 30 new members maybe more, little less.

Can I add, most are spammers, just to view stuff, and guest wanna do a quick post, and new people to forums signing up to the forum for future joining and normal members making new accounts/clones.

Yup. as said we get enough members per day joining. Just trying to get more would ruin somethings and waste much time.

It would more likly lessen the amount of people joining? gimics like that put people off in a major way.
Plus most people join becuse of posts they read, basicly let em read threw, till theres a topic on an issue they have a strong oppinion on thats not been said, alot of people will join especaly just to answer that kind of particaly topic, then go on to become a proper member from that.
If you imposed a post read limit people may not find that thread "/

While I see the value of your idea, I don't think its workable and really it wouldn't benefit us. Firstly I don't think you can do it. Secondly, we want guests to be able to view our threads. If they want to post they will join, often they just browse and we want to allow them to do that. Forcing them to register might just put them off it. If they want to post and want to join the community then they will register :)

Thanks for the comment, and it can be done, When someone gave me a link to habbos.net on my news post, I was limited on how many pages I could view
