As long as you know them and trust them, and are meeting in a public place etc then I think it's fine :).

I think that you have to be really careful with stuff like that but sometimes meeting people is alright e.g. if it's in a public place where there are lots of people and if you feel you truly know them well enough to know they're not lying about who they are and stuff like that

i got nothing against it, but i would never meet anyone from the net.
they're normal people, just because you meet in a diffrent way then you would say like, at school or where you live means nothing.

i think it's kk. aslong as you've seen their picture ect so u know what they look like.

Well there is a slight difference, when you meet them in real life originally you know they are who they say they are and you know their real personality etc. Many people are different to who they say they are on the net, be this in age, looks or personality.

but, you've just got to be careful, take time before you meet someone, they shouldnt rush you into something you dont want to do. Webcams provide live images of the person, therefore you should know if they are who they say they are?

I'm kinda falling for a girl on another forum for people with same illness as mine and it's not dodgy as you have to give evidence of yourself and doctor's notes before you register :P

I think its ok if you really trust them. But just because they went on cam for you doesn't mean you really know who they are.

If you've known this person long enough to know they are who they say they are, and you've had proof that they are, such as photos, web cam sessions, maybe even phone calls, and you take someone with you and meet in a public open space, then yeah, i would say that it's okay to met people on the internet.

But, if you've not known them long, and you've rarely seen them and so on, then i think it would be a bit unsafe, as you may not be 100% sure who they are, and you could end up in a bit of a mess.
