1. Habbo Furni
If a person is selling a shoutcast for habbo furni his hosting is proberly unreliable, or not ligit. His shoutcasts may have a good uptime for the first month or so and will proberly Die. This isn't always the cast though.

2. Unbelieveably Cheap Shoutcasts
If a person is selling 1000 listeners for £1 a month that offer is proberly too good to be true, he can change the amount at any time also these hosts tend to dissaper with your money rapidly

3. Free Shoutcasts
These normally last for around a month or never work properly. The reason these occur is because people bought a LITE version of the software and has not bought a full licence.

4. High Bitrates
Shoutcasts of bitrates higher than 64** are just stupid. As far as i am conserned 64 is fine, if you have it at 128kbs You play a song of time of 5 minutes. It has transfered 38.4 megabytes. If you play songs continuely for 24 hours thats 11 gb of Bandwidth used in 1 day. Their servers will almost certianly die.

5. Real Shoutcasts
If you are looking at 100 listners at 48kbs for around £3 that is a good deal but not too good it will proberly never happen.

6. Scams
The owner of the shoutcast servers can at any time, reduce the number of listeners it can hold, the highest bitrate you can DJ at, He can Delete it, suspend it. If you have payed wo someone who has the LITE version there is no comeback it is gone.

Thats it.

Cool +rep, although you make it sound like you can't get a good shoutcast host, so you should of added that you can make one yourself
