Best £425 I ever spent. There are so many possibilities with it, and with the softwere updates, your PS3 will constantly keep on getting newer features.

I have 2 games, Call of Duty 3 and Resistance: Fall of Man. Both use the SIXAXIS possibilites with great effect. If motion sensor isn't for you, then just switch it off...simple. With the PS3 you really are getting a games console, hi-fi, DVD player and Blu-Ray player all in one. Buy one, you really wont regret it.

You usually buy 3-4 games when your actually buying the console.

I have 7 games for my Wii and like 10 Virtual Console games + a classic controller and a Wii (Gamecube) memory card.

Yes..That's what Blu-ray for, it's a DVD player that costs way to much, and all it does is give movies a higher quality than HD, the blu-ray disks are probably going to cost like £30 each or something stupid like that :rolleyes:

Comparing the Wii to The PS3 or the Xbox 360 is pointless and in fact pathetic. It's like comparing a car to lorry. They both have DIFFERENT purposes.

The PS3 is like a theatre, it provides the highest quality but that comes at a price. The xbox 360 is like a DVD, its still good quality and at a more affordable price. Then you have the Wii, its like a TV channel. You always watch/play it with your family.

Thats the way I look at it anyway. I'm very happy with my PS360. (PS3 + 360) and at the moment have no intentions of getting a Wii, BUT that could change as new games are released all the time. I'm not a fanboy. Im a realist.

I just dont see the point in turning a games console into a media centre, the only function I use my wii for is gaming oh and the everybody votes channel.

Connectability with your PC and file sharing is actually good if you want to listen to music on your xbox, plus if you have downloaded movies on PC you can watch them on your xbox aswell, the Wii doesn't have that because it's a party console, PS3 and 360 are proper consoles, only problem is they're basically the same but PS3 has a blu-ray player which is a large waste of money in my opinion
