Well I know im not good at layouts but I thought id give one a try, I know its very bad but I didnt know what to base it on.

I am ok at habbo layouts so I thought id give it a change, so I made a mess lol.

well the links are the navigation lol. I just thought id show how many links it can hold.

How can I improve all I currently use to make layouts is paint.

1st one is Ok, it needs work though it is too simple but is a good start I suggest you spend some good time designing these. 2nd one isn't that great it looks a little messy but I'm sure it could be sorted out, + rep for trying and I hope as you work on designs they improve. :D
