:] Cool trick but one day i spent a while thinking about it, and the characters change everytime. No matter what numbers you pick it will land on a certain character. One character is with different numbers that you must land on. So look at the characters on the the numbers, and the character that appears the most, is going to have to be what you select.

:] Lol I spent a while thinking about this

I personally think mysticalball.com is a better version

When You Take your 2 digit number (say 49)
YOU add the digits together (say 13)
you then take your new number from your old number (49-13=36)
this is set up so that your answer is always a multiple of 9 and all the multiples of nine are marked with the same symbol, there fore the computer should always guess your number unless you do the working out wrong

Ive also seen that in java script form!

It's simple really. They get from 10 - 99. You will get a possible list of numbers. That thing knows the possible numbers. The rest of the numbers, are numbers that you cannot get by adding the two digits of a two digit number so they just put random symbols. The ones that are possible answers are marked with the same symbol and when you click the magic ball that one will know what to do.

The algrithm it uses is simple, mathimaticly useing the system it suggested tehre are a very limited range of numbers u can get, all of the share the same radnly slected simble, which will also be the answer it will show as it has a high statictic liklyhood of being coreect. Notice numebr 9 will also be the answer it shows.
eg
10
1+0 = 1 .
1-10 = 9
same as
15
1 + 5 = 6
6 - 15 = 9

17
1 + 7 = 8
17 - 8 = 9

u see how it gets it so much of the time now

(not all are correct, but its got a good chnace)

Clever by not phyicic

88
8 + 8 = 16
88 - 16 = 74

99
9 + 9 = 18
99 - 18 = 81

It's just all the numbers that are possible to get. You can't get 99 so they will just put a random number there. You can get 74 so they put a symbol there. The symbol will be the same for 9, 81 etc. Not very hard to work out after some thinking.
