Gutting stuff, lol. Ravi Bopara was quality though, glad he got the half-century to justify his performance.

Nope.
I don't think so.

Eeesh, I want to go into detail but won't, just for Mr.X!
That was unlucky for us, is all I'll say. And enjoy the highlights; probably easier to watch than the real thing!
You can go into detail now if you want, I've closed this section :D

Omg we hsould of won. No serious. Last ball he bowled but didnt release ball. That is a no ball, so we should of needed 1 to win off 2 (extra ball from no ball). ******* Bowden :s

Na, that is legal, unfortunately.
HOW ON EARTH COULD THEY GIVE VAUGHAN OUT :|
How on earth did Sri Lanka manage to get even that total, they played rubbish! Our best fielding and bowling performance in AGES (with the exception of Monty) and we still manage to pack things up.
Bring back Strauss. For EITHER Joyce OR Vaughan; atleast Bell gets some sort of total ¬.¬

suppose those extras really swung it in the end, 16 compared to 6.

Yeah, it's just classed as a dead ball, which means he just does it again without any runs being added on to the total or an extra ball being needed to bowl.

I agree there. Watching it, I thought it clipped his back leg's pad and didn't get any contact off the bat. Bowden should really have given Vaughan the benefit of the doubt, but that's cricket.
Ian Bell's dismissal was really tight as well. I think his bat was just in the air when the bails were taken, even though the 3rd umpire was just guessing on most of the camera angles .
Did Jaya even touch the ball?
Ian Bell's dismissal was OK.
Vaughan's wasn't - that was a terrible decision.
The last ball was put on - he did that initially to put Bopara off although it's unquestionable as it's allowed.
I've got to say that - what a performance by Bopara and Nixon, and Jesus, Nixon with that reverse sweep six.
Overall it was a good match, we were just on the loosing end.
