Spurs are 2-0 down at half time, after 2 goals inside the first ten minutes from Sevilla, including a Malbranque own goal and a classy finish from Kanoute. Spurs now need to score 4 goals without conceding in the second half to go through and are pretty much required to 'do a Middlesborough'. Too bad we don't have Massimo Maccarone on the subs bench.

Anyone reckon they can do it?

Spurs are no middlesbrough, so i doubt
they can do it.
Unless they have a super sub.

Don't think they will. :[
I reckon they should play all out attack tbh.

Nope, Defoe is a bit disappointing these days.

edit: just had the most BLATANT penalty appeal turned down. the penalty decisions over the two legs have lost us our place in the uefa cup. disgraceful.

Sevilla are awesome. Especially in cups
Like the UEFA.
Unlucky for spurs to go this far. Then draw Sevilla.

Too little too late :(

I wanted Spurs to win so much, I was gutted. Malbronce should of easily cleared that :(. Berbatov should of scored aswell, but he hit the post too.

unlucky spurs.

malbranque's own goal was disgraceful.

yeh shame really spurs just arent good enough to compete with teams like sevilla, they should have been 4 or 5 goals up in first half, great comeback by spurs although they gave themselves to much to do.

What a biased ref, you gotta say.

Several handball decisions, stupid free-kick decisions and a clear-cut penalty turned down.

Sue the ref.

Its alright for Refs, they dont have to justify there actions on the pitch, just in the after-match report when they have already messed up :S.

Bring in video reffing if you ask me.
