Pokemon - What do you think about it?

Hi,

VictaBB5's post inspired me to ask everyone on this forum what they think about pokemon

What are your views on the Japanese Pocket Monsters.

Personally, when I was younger I used to like them. The games were good , T.V programs not great but I would still watch them and the cards were the best! Oh and don't get me started on the figures.. I loved them..

But what did you think?!

yeah lol - Ive got pokemon red in my gameboy which is in my bedside drawer.. Pokemon is getting very dated.. i opened it and just yawned and turned it off.. Bit like Runescape really lol :p

I think it's amazing. I played The Pokémon Master Trainer today, of which I won with my Blastoise- naturally. I also started a new save on Pokémon Gold today, I'm planning on getting my dream team ;D;

I used to love collecting the cards and watching the tv programs but then when the cards got banned in school it kinda died down a bit. I still enjoy the games though.

I beat my friends whole party of pokémon with my one Feraligatr :D

I have The circle things you get in the crisps packets (i got them all), loads of cards, a few books, toys, board game, games i used to love it!

I didn't look at the other thread. Also, using the Rare Candy's will lost stats on your Pokémon. If you train each one up the hard way- or going against the Elite Four so you get 4000 EXP each time -then you can get much better stats and they'll be stronger.

Well ages ago in primary pokemon was the thing it was a revolution lmao

tv series wasnt muchg ood but good when bored so i watched it but not all the time just when i was flicking
trading cards were amazing i dont buy any now but i still like to get out my huge collections and have a look on how much money that is their lol :)
the games well ive got all the games except sapphire and crystal but oh my its one of them games that are brilliant for when your bored but highly addictive, i deleted my gold and started a new because gold and silver is the best pokemon games so far (not including graphics obviously) (i hope thye make another one but up to date)

When I was young I used to collect the cards. I started when I was 4 and stopped when I was 10. I almost had every card. I collected the stickers in the sticker books, the games for the nintendos etc Now its all old tbh

I'm a manic pokemon fan but then if anyone in my school found out the abuse would never end! Why is everyone so mean towards pokemon fans and it isn't just pokemon. I myself am a Yu-Gi-Oh fan and also enjoy the Megaman games on the DS and Gameboy Advance but just like pokemon, people would laugh at me if they knew I liked stuff like that. Sometimes after school I go down to our local CHIPS store to buy some pokemon or yu-gi-oh cards but I have to wait until the shop is empty before I dare to buy them. Luckily I have a couple of friends who are pokemon fans and we go together to pre-release tournaments (which rule) and sometimes the regional qualifiers (never made it through). Anyone else getting this problem???

My friend Nicky used to have two huge folders filled with pokemon cards.
Thought that was a bit strange. ;D
