After learning about the genocide that happened in africa, like in the film hotel rwanda, where two tribes were killing one another and the rest of the world realised too late and were powerless, i was told to write a poem in geoggers.
Alone
Tears have fallen,
From my aching eyes,
Yet still I sit,
I cry and cry.
They took my family,
They've burnt my home,
Now they leave me,
All alone.
Men come running,
But they won't see,
Can't hear my cries,
Won't hear my plea.
Getting late now,
I let out a moan,
No one will help me,
I'm all alone.
