I like it tbh. But where the threads show dont make the background show as you cant read the writing well, make the bit where the threads show a different colour, like a grey or somthing.

that skin is awful. it looks like you have just filled the colours in, in ms paint.

Its a good start, maybe add solid colors behind the thread bits?

it's dodgy tho cause the wording isn't level like on the threads/replies bit and login/pass.

Work off the deafault vBulletin skin when you first start out, Learn what all the CSS controls do (See my stuck thread) and work on from it.
