Like know in real life, where the legs go down the side, we should be able to do that take's up less space

you can stack them:
> rollers going in a square
> z shelf on the rollers
> put chair on z shelf
> take away z shelf
> right before the chair moves onto the next roller move the chair onto the roller
> move another z shelf right before it moves onto the roller.it should rise.if not take i off and try again untill it does
> repeat untill desired hight
that should work.
it works for most 1 square things.

instead of using z shelfs use like 3 or 4 coins stacked to get the gap

That would look cool tbh, it would not only help in storage but in designing. I think this is already possible but it its quite troublesome, as you needa roller-stack.
