It's not a new version, it's outside office hours, it's a server freeze. New version will be tomorrow, as it gives staff chance to test versions on Friday, then it's okay for the weekend.

Yea lyk Lost_witness and Helkat have their bums sticking out of the cupboard in the office plugging the new release in. Doubt it some how?

They do it all from Sulake HQ in Finland. Offices are where the staff sit and chat. not fix things ;)

Because Habbo has to have a 'cooling off' period whereby they test all aspects of the new version release when being used by the public, thus Thursday makes sense, as Staff are not in on Saturday's.

They test everything after they have updated it. Thats why it takes 5 hours + as they test it then fix the stuff that is glitched. ;) They are just prepping the hotel, they did it in the last release

Yes, they do it all from Helsinki.. But the office staff need to be in to moderate things afterwards. They still get paid.
