don't really like the colours and font.
you should make it more modern, web 2.0.
anyway good attempt +rep, but lots of room for improvement.

Sygon, you need a backlink to gain any pagerank whatsoever.

No, I am not wrong.

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page's value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves "important" weigh more heavily and help to make other pages "important."

You obviously didn't realise you have backlinks.

I used multiple checkers.

Site just turned PR5 like one link from a 0 pr site. :/

Ryan,

if this site is 'PR3' then tell us, what word is it that we can find your site under?

Im pretty sure the page rank is just based on the site previously useing the domain, googles bots most likley havent even crawled the new content, never lown updated the index to include it "/
Web archive has the site from back in 2001 o.0

Page rank isn't something you get for a certain word, google uses a large number of factors to determine where something should appear in search results, page rank is used mainly to determine the importants and usefulness of the page as a whole, not to determine its relevance to a particular search query.

you can view the page rank direct from google by pretending your the google tool bar doing the query. http://toolbarqueries.google.com/search?client=navclient-auto&hl=en&ch=61059503817&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&features=Rank&q=info:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.emuzine.com%2F

Indeed, but page rank takes many years.

But if you are lucky you can get it in a coupe of months

but what do i know, i'm not good with google.

Pagerank doesn't take many years, all you need is a backlink for a site with PR3+ and hope google crawls the page with the backlink before the next update.
