Well, as you said, we are owed an extra feature for subforums going, so why not extend the editing time? :8

I look there ;) But since this is here I'll reply. The reason for the 15 minute rule was to be able to properly enforce the rules. While we do give VIPs feature that cause no harm, VIPs shouldn't be given ways to circumvent the rules and punishments. If you really wanted, we could up it to 20 or 25 minutes but would the extra 5 or 10 minutes really do anything at all?

The edit time limit is actually a global option not a per usergroup option meaning if we changed it, it would affect all users :).

'Though as i said, no matter what the time edit is, people still rule break tbh, you infract us right? Thats a copy of the post thus YOU know who got infracted where as well as a icon appears next to the posts.
The moderation note is not needed, tbh so what if we remove it. We still got warned/infracted and you've still got a copy of it.
So please explain the point of the edit limit again?

They can edit their post to something rude or abusive, usually aimed at the Moderator; and we don't want that. They can also re add the rule breaking content, which we don't want either.

'Thats why we have the "post report icon" and everytime a mod note is added, lets face it people just quote it and moan about it anyhow.
So theres no changes.
Just add a new rule saying
"If editing moderation notes or changes in any shape or form, it will result in a temp ban, we do have copies of the moderation notes added to your posts thus if changed you will receive a temp ban for 3 days."

Edit time is also added so the thread topic isnt change for example..the thread starter makes it about bananas, a few people post and he/she changes it to being about apples.
I do see your point however..I will see what can be done about this :).

'Your able to edit the thread title limit time itself too i belive.
I'll like to be updated about this tbh, :)
Along with if a user did do as your posted in your example, you'll be able to see by using "edit thread" and viewing moderation logs on that thread alone to see if thread title was changed or not.
