Worst days of my life

i swear its so painfull. i feel fine but the pain at the back of my throat is unbeleivable. ive been to the doctors and he says i have full blown tonsilitus (is that spelled right) (is that?) i cant drink, i cant eat and it hurts to breathe :( ive concidered not breathing but i can only last like 10 seconds :(

i slept for a whole day and all it done is made my ears temporarily semi deaf. :(

Would medicine do anything to help?

Get your tonsils removed. It happens to heaps of people and you have to eat ice cream for days afterwards.
The doctor surely would have recommended something before sending you home.

That sounds bad, it's like one of those things where there isn't much you can do but like other people have said if you don't want to get it again have your tonsils taken out. Even though you're finiding it hard to eat and drink maybe if you drink something warm and soothing like tea or try something like soup it might help your throat after.

You get them removed, my sister did, and you eat ice cream n stuff lol hope you get better :)

and i asked the doctor to get my tonsils removed and he said its not worth it

If you are finding it hard to hear or your ears are starting to ring, hurt or weep it's because the infection is spreading. You need some antibiotics.. I don't know why the doctor didn't give you a prescription. If he did then use the damn stuff! :)

I had a terrible throat a couple weeks back. I ate ice cream for every meal of the day (it was in the holidays). Made my throat better though ;P
