a lot of blind people become blind from accidents ya know, not just from birth

Dreams arnt limited to just visual imagary, are dreams usealy contain a number of sences we use heverly and are exsperences are built out of, in most people this is visual images and sound, difference sences would be used if those were the primary ones used to gather the exspence a dream is based upon.
So a blind persons dream would likly be formed through sound pimarly.
Although its kind of depenedant on what sort of blidness they have, if its somthing that happened later in life, most there exsperences will still contain visual data, hence there dreams will contain the sound, if they have been blind since birth and have no concept of visual imagary, other sences will be used as they comrpise the bulk of there past experences

hmm yeh they probably just hear/feel things.
i wonder what it would feel like to be blind and deaf! that must be horrible.
It must be real weird to be completely blind from birth, never knowing what anything looks like.

That would be awfull.
What if you cant speak from birth .. or didnt learn to speak - how would you think?

yh, you couldn't describe the appearance of something to a blind person, for example 'this carpet is orange' because they don't know what orange looks like.
If you were blind from birth - amazing question
But if you were blinded by an accident - you would dream about things which you have already seen..
I can think of things I haven't seen too :p

i think it would be like ours, but what they think that thing looks like
for example, we would dream of a standard field. cows, grass, fences, all normal.
but blind people wouid dream if of that they thought cows and grass and fences looked like.
so it would be the same in a sense, just different
It's weird though, you can't even describe a cow to them, cos if you saw like it's white with brown spots they don't really know what either of the colours look like.
if you were blind from birth, then you wouldn't probably notice anything strange about what you dreamed, not knowing if purple was green or a cow was a shoe, it would simply not matter, our dreams are just intensified so to speak by vison.
