For all your Habbo Happenings
The Pixel Maze begins this Friday with the first team of 6 Habbos taking on the many tasks awaiting them as they journey to the Pixel Dome. Standing in the way of top spot on our leaderboard are four themed zones each containing a series of challenges that will test your skill and puzzle solving as well your ability to work in a team. Keep a close eye on our Pixel Maze page this week as the leaderboard and details of prizes will be appearing. Get all the info on how to take part in our new game, including how to be a contestant, and a preview of the four zones, detailed on the map below, by visiting our Pixel Maze page (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/pixel).
If you have subscribed (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/newsie) to the Habbo Newsie then you should be on the lookout next week for a superb competition that will see one Habbo walk away with a spectacular Habbo prize! We don't want to tell you exactly what it is just yet, but it is an item of Furni that has not been available in the past and is not going to be sold in the future. That makes the trading value of this highly collectable item spectacularly high! You have to be in it to win it and remember, these competitions are limited to Habbos who have subscribed to our Newsie and therefore the chances of winning are higher than usual.
Have you subscribed to our email Habbo Newsie yet? The latest Habbo news can be delivered to your inbox every week if you verify your email and subscribe. It's quick and easy to subscribe, just follow the guidelines on our Newsie page (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/newsie).
This week sees the start of the Habbo Video Player competition, where we give you the opportunity to show us your 'madskillz' and get l33t with your badselves. Each week we'll be searching for the highest rated Habbo Video we can find on YouTube and showcasing it on our Video Player (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/player) and giving it's creators a taste of fame; whether it's 'How to' guides or pranks, dramatic reconstructions, original plays, poetry recitals, music vids or dance offs, spin offs, maybe even rip offs if you're daring (I wouldn't though - beware the lawyers!) or just your thoughts on Habbo!
For inspiration, why not take a look at the winning NSPCC Anti-bullying play (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/player) which is currently being featured, it gives a very good example of the quality we'll be expecting. You can find out more about all the winning NSPCC/ChildLine plays on the NSPCC/ChildLine pages (http://www.habbo.co.uk/entertainment/nspcc/play.html).
Full details of the Habbo Video Player competition will appear on the homepage on Thursday 26th April. Please wait until then before starting your masterpiece as there is important information you will need to read.
We're really spoiling your creativity this week, not only are we launching the Video competition to let all you budding Spielbergs, Coens and Wayans out there get yourselves noticed, we've now also launched a Gamer Club weekly Game review section! Now our Gamers can join the Book, Film and Music Clubbers (Clubees?) in sending us reviews of their lastest/favourite game and we'll choose one of the best to publish each week onsite. Just like the Album and Film reviews, the choosen reviewer will get their Habbo name on the Homepage and links to their review and their Habbo Home (http://www.habbo.co.uk/home)!
To find out more click here (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/habbo_debate/gamer_club.html)!
Don't forget to keep checking the Home (http://www.habbo.co.uk/) and Community (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community) news feeds as well as our weekly email newsie (http://www.habbo.co.uk/community/newsie) for all the latest Habbo news and competitions.
