its not scamming as such. its the other persons fault for dropping them in the first place.
if you drop something, after a couple of mins it becomes visible to everyone else. giving anyone the right to come along and pick it up.
maybe this will tell the guy to continue the drop trading in a less populated area, or a quieter world.

If someone is drop trading you don't think about taking a screenie, you just run for the stuff. Like if a drop party was happening, you wouldn't wait till you see the item, take a print screen, then run for it.
