Habbo's Own Rare Values

I see The Habbo UK Poll looks like they may add a rare values page on their site.
This would be good for some I think as nobody could say its cheating to get what you want.
Others would say its bad as Habbox would go completly down the pan.
I, On The Other Hand Want It To Come.
As It Would Be Run By Habbo Staff.
Nobody Could Moan Then.

I think this has already been posted, I remember glancing over a thread similar to this.

Nevertheless, yes it would be good if they set up rare values, it would certainly stop all these riots/protests & arguements about Habbox rare values and various other rare value sites.

There's also the problem of them not updating as much when a new rare comes out or is re-released which is often.

If it's re-released then it goes down in value and other furniture goes down in value sometimes due to how the image of the furniture is putten across the hotel and also because some people just see people offering a lower value and they start to follow them.

Its not going to happen, and if it does it wont be anywhere near as good as habbox because habbox have a team of 10+ people and I doubt habbo would assign more than 2 people.

habbo staff would never be able to do their own rare values. they're hardly on the hotel anyway, and even then, ppl wud hound them too much to see what ppl are trading for. they'd prob take one look in a trade room and adjust it to that. And also, considering they take forever updating things, it'd be like 3 weeks before anything changed...

Habbox puts in a LOT of time and effot to run things like the rare values, and it's good :)

anyway i carnt see habbo doing an accurate rare values because as soon as a 'trading eXpert' walks into a room people will start asking for more than the rares price and pretending that they have sold something for more

I would be supprised if they do

1) Not fair, they can change the value and it will be used to their profit (in cash)
2) Habbo staff dont have time so mess around choosing the value of things
3) Unrealeased rares wont be on it

They can open apps and create a team of 100 if they like, they would easily get that many.

I'd trust Sulake over sierk and 8Freak8, I think the ONLY time Sulake could fix values is when a new hated rare comes out and they put it at 2.5 CS

id imagine at least half the habbox team is corrupt unlike uk staff rare searchers as they wouldnt get extra

tbh, habbo probly record what goes through trade boxes anyway.... they just take the feed from that and average it all out to be dispayed as a value on the habbo rare values page... accurate and truthfull,

I don't think they will, but I'm sure somewhere on the Habbo site it says something along the lines of "Furniture is not worth a certain amount, it's for what ever you want to trade it at"

Although they may be disagreeing with Habbox they may decide on that decision it's worth what ever you want and make their own rare values.

I, myself think It would be a good idea although Habbox would slightly go down and we would have random values if one item on Habbox is 10hc and on Habbo it is 2hc.

Like someone said, it wouldn't get updated regulary.

I agreed that they should. Sod Habbox, it would actually have a system everyone can use without people moaning. Who gives a nufty if Habbox becomes quiet? It's about the Habbo users, not a fansite and their values "/

anyway yeh i wouldnt mind a rare values but it would cause several problems or whatever. doesnt bother me either way.

And Sulake have the time to look at the values sent in by 100 randomers, check that each one of them is valid and not just an attempt to rig them.

Sorry but that is the worst idea ever. They shouldn't do rare values, they should just make a chart of how many there is of each rare on the hotel.

This may not work with HC rares but it would be great for supers and most catalogue rares. This would save time/money/harrasment for Habbo and will allow people to still trade for what they want because if Habbo did values, people would treat them as a bible a hell of a lot more than they do with Habbox. :)

When a rare is released, they could make it's "value" very high (maybe 4 or 5 HCs) so people will buy credits to purchase the rare. However, catalogue rares never hit above 2HCs while they're released (although the Green Birdbath was different).

Habbo usually promote not using rare values.

I doubt the values will be based on what people are going to offer for a rare. They will rate them their own way (whatever that may be). I seriously doubt they will hire staff and pay them just to get values for rares :P.
