I'd say thats quite accurate, but I really don't know how they've left Slash off there altogether.. i'm shocked.

I've heard better guitarists than Slash.
DragonForce's guitarist is immensly fast, and plays it clean; even live.

I know, Slash was good, but he was more of just an upstanding guitarist, not crazy or anything. I would rather listen to Slash then some crazy guitar solo which is just rubbish notes put together to sound fast.

I've heard DragonForce's guitarist - Herman Li right?

yeh but if you htink about it, this is of all time, so people from more newer bands probably wouldnt make it
if they were to do a top 100 guitarists of today, more people from newer bands would be on it

glad Jonny Greenwood is on there. He rules!

Yes, Jonny Greenwood is my hero. Radiohead is one of like 4 bands with multiple guitarists on it. Most of my favorite guitarists are on it which Im happy about. Or at least guitarists from bands I liked but never really considered outstanding.

17 Jack White of the White Stripes
18 John Frusciante of the Red Hot Chili Peppers
26 Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave
34 Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth
59 & 60 Jonny Greenwood, Ed O'Brien of Radiohead
95 Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine
100 Kim Thayil of Soundgarden

Cobain shouldnt have been on it really, I think that was a dumb decision, but otherwise the list was okay. And if they let Slash in they'd have to let tons of 80's bands in.

Jack White, 17!? Woah... I like The White Stripes but he should definitely not be 17th. No Slash!? Thats just wrong. Kurt Cobain 12th, LOL.

Jack White is a hell of a guitarist. Some songs you cant really tell, but you can really tell live. He's pretty amazing.
