There was a new planet found in another solersystem
Appearently, Its 1 and a half times of earth. Its gravity is about 1.6 times of earths also. Its called 581C. Its a solid planet, and not gas. Its about 120 trillion miles from earth.
It has an atmosphere, and it MAY have water. They're not sure. Its temp is thought to be between 32 degrese and 104 degrese.
If it has liquid, it IS possible that it has life on it.
It is in the concelation Lebra and it orbits around a red dwarf star.
Since it is so far away, we don't have a lot of information about it. So they say it will be acouple years before we have the technology to gather a lot of information about it.
Pretty cool eh?

Oh I read about this, it's supposed to be near identical to Earth in terms of climate. I hope there's life ;P, it'd be really cool.

Yeah.
That would be cool:)
Maybe we can be the website to get aliens to work for us:O !
And how are we supposed to get there?
This new Earth is supposed to be the 'escape' planet when our planet dies. Hopefully warp speed will have been invented by then...it's 20 light years away...which is 123,000,000,000,000 (123 million million miles)...ya, fingers crossed on warp speed :P

Let's hope technology will be advanced enough, to transport our children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's children's (to be continued ) to that planet :P

Lol, escape planet when ours dies? :S Our planet won't die until about five billion years, when the sun becomes a red giant and destroys most of the inner planets. Plus all life will be dead before that happens. :P

lol go look up how hot it is on mars... then you will know
plus NASA have sent them robot things with cameras on to mars so we have been there i suppose
It would be cool if there were life signs but what if they were like some made alien spieces? There'd be no way we'd wanna move there :P and the human race would be doooomed xD
And yes I know we'd be dead I was tlaking in a general term.
interesting. [:

intereseting.. because if you went on mars you'd freeze, not melt..
Mars — Temperature: -266°F to -62°F

If there was a life form as developed as ours, do you reckon they've found us yet? :P They'll be looking us up on google maps :8
