Dogs die as a car is set on fire

Two dogs were burned alive when arsonists set fire to a car in Bristol.
The animals had been left in the vehicle parked at a car boot sale on the airfield near Whitchurch sports centre.

The owner of the dogs was treated for shock at the scene when she returned to find her Vauxhall car alight.

Police said a dog and a puppy perished in the incident which happened on Saturday and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Why would anyone wanna kill a doggy :(

Sometimes you have to leave your dog(s) in the car, even though you dont want to.

Wow, that's pretty sad. I mean, if they knew the dogs were in the car, then thats sick. But, if they didn't, it still pretty stupid for just setting alight to someones car.

You can leave dogs in cars... As long as there is room to move around and lay down, clean air and ventilation and a good supply of water and sometimes food if they haven't eaten, it is ok "/

I feel sorry for the woman... Imagine coming back to your car, hoping to be welcomed by two of the most precious creatures in your life, but you see that. Horrible though :(

True, but sometimes the people aren't innocent - but many die who are. In this case, the dogs were innocent - and for the arsonists to do that is sick. They MUST have seen dogs in there.

It's not really that hard to miss 2 dogs. Thats just sick if they saw the dogs in the car.
