Im a boy, 13yrs old, living in Kent England. Im Irish and do Irish dancing and have bee doing so for a few years now. Do English people (Or whatever nationality you are) think it is acceptable for boys to do Irish Dancing? Or do you think its only for girls? Irish dancing is for boys aswell but what are YOUR views?

people can do what they want. other people have no right to tell people what to do.

Whos to say whats exceptable?

well no one really, but its up to public opinion on it.

just like people saying 'who decides whether rape is acceptable'

but obviously in this case people who decide whats 'acceptable' are his fellow peers. But if your proud and happy to irish dance, do it, regardless of what your friends say.

Its fine in canada.

If you like it, it should matter if its acceptable.

I was answering from a physcological aspect ;p If I where answering from a anthropological aspect I would say It depends on how other humans see it in your society :p Im not saying that rape is acceptable however.

The Queen has less power than the PM and Parliament.

Also do whatever you want, don't let the scum laugh at you because at leats your doing something instead of smashing windows acting 'hard'.

The Queen has complete control over the PM and parliament.

Nope. I believe the Queen has little power in this country. Shes only there to sign documents as the Head Of State, nothing much else..

A lot of people think this. It's propaganda you get taught because the government wants you on their side, which is why they constantly call for the Queen's power to be abolished. Currently she has the power to:
Choose the Prime Minister.
Dismiss ministers and governments.
Dissolve Parliament.
Refuse to agree to legislation passed by Parliament.
Dismiss the governments of other countries of which she is monarch.
Pardon convicted criminals.
Declare a state of emergency.
Issue proclamations.
Command the army and raise a personal militia.

Of course meaning she has power over the commonwealth as well as the UK, she also owns the SAS. She's technically the most powerful person in the world in regards to political power.

No she doesn't.

She CAN NOT choose a PM

Yes she can, she chose one back in the 60s I believe. Theoretically she has more power over England than the President does over the USA. However, she is constitutional so we'll never see her exercise this power. And obviously she wouldn't choose a PM without prior consultation with parliament first because they are the ones who can grant him the means to govern.

Nope sorry she doesn't.

She has hardly any power and she can be arrested.

Lol, the police swear allegiance to her and considering she can pardon any conviction and end any court case I doubt she could be arrested.

If, for example, she owned a retro and Sulake sued her nothing would happen as she is susceptible to prosecution. A crime is done against her, therefore she is the only one above the law. Obviously if she went around stabbing people she would be removed from power and locked up at the least though. What I'm saying is her lawful power, no one knows what would possibly happen because the notion of the Queen committing a crime is not very common.

Exactly, so she can be arrested.

It'd be rather pointless if they did arrest her considering she can pardon convicts. As already stated by the Virgin Mary, the monarch has the power to:

Choose the Prime Minister.
Dismiss ministers and governments.
Dissolve Parliament.
Refuse to agree to legislation passed by Parliament.
Dismiss the governments of other countries of which she is monarch.
Pardon convicted criminals.
Declare a state of emergency.
Issue proclamations.
