Shall I Offer FREE vBulletin Skins?

As the title says, shall I offer free vBulletin skins?

Would you use them is the main thing?

They won't be anything special but they should do and be better than the custom vBulletin style. By making more I should improve and the more skins I make the better they will get (you've gotta start somewhere). Some will just be changing colours, adding gradients, and changing the size however there will be a few where I will try to be more adventurous and make it more customized to make it look different.

If doing this I will have to ask you to register to my forum where I am offering them, not because I want users (although that would be nice) but because I want to see how many downloads they will of had and it allows you to post comments.

If I have time to spare I will be allowing requests.

Here is one I have made (took me around 30 minutes). Yes it's not the best because I didn't concentrate to well because a friend was round my house at the time although I am willing to take feeback on how to improve and I will release versions of the skin as it improves in time.

I hope to make this a big-ish project and hope people will benefit from it.

If you are ready for criticism then yes, its worthwhile as it will attract users to your site, and you will be helping newbies to vBulletin skinning. If you want a hand i could lend you some of my spare time?

I think that would be very nice and helpful of you but you decide. Personally I wouldn't use it but it would be helpful to allot of people. :)

It would only benifit noobs at vbulletin who need a skin to start off their habbo forum.
I never thought I would say this but I prefer Jabba's
Now I have never been particulary good at vbulletin skins however I could given time produce better skins.
For free I think it would be good because if people critise it thne who cares because at the end of the day its for nothing.

I have been thinking for a while no to get a few skin deisngers and make some free skins for people.

Personally, I wont never now make free stuff for this forum as I have no interest in most of the users who visit it as they don't deserve anything.

Jabba, If you do make decent skins, you should release them on VB.org not on here. You'll get a kinder response.

Kinda, the only things you need to familiarise yourself with is, what parts relate to where on the vBulletin skin, hex codes and this url(images/example.gif) to insert images.

As easy as ABC ;).
