and by "those shootings", the shootings where they'd kill random people in the street with a sniper gun.

I havent heard of much of that one. The DC sniper (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dc_sniper) was a much more famous case though.

oh yeah, i'm pretty sure its actually that one that i'm thinking of.

Yeah, I have heard a little bit of the Phoenix one. It was only 6 cases in over 14 monthes though. The DC one killed 10 people in a 3 week time period or something like that.

which is scary because I live on baseline.

Yeah, it was kinda weird when they were caught. We found out so much that was wrong. Like everyone originally thought they were shooting from rooftops, but they were really shooting from a car. And then they thought their escape vehicle was a white van, because there were a few tapes and eyewitnesses who saw a white van at the scene in 2 cases, but it turns out they were in a regular car. But the weirdest day was when they were digging up the yard behind some house in Washington state because there was a connection but they wouldnt tell the media. And then the next day they were caught. I remember everyone was scared to stay outside while at the gas station.
