I am starting a news site which will display all types of news.

It is based off of my Company: Cabtech Design.

It will show news of the types:
Technology News
World News
US News
Europe News
Disaster News
Amber Alerts

All types of news from around the world, to display to teens everywhere.

Kind of like Sharpenews?

Anyone wanna help?

Ok, being a sheep, you are following someone/something.

The big hype with SN ages ago, everyone wanted to do a news site - although there's a 97% failure rate.

With SN doing well, and being offer [x] amount of money for their site - you want to follow in their steps and be the next `big news site`.

Please say you understand that :(

I didn't know that. Why not just carry on with this "Skylightlobby"
Instead of making a news site.

We alread have BBC, Sharpenews etc.
I doubt yours will get as popular tbh.

Someone posts a project on this forum people say i will help never gets done.

This wont work and i can guarentee that

Good point. Yet i still get the feeling that he there is money motivated stuff behind this.

To be honest, and I am not bragging, I don't need the money. I am happily suited the way I am.

Seeing the demographics of the class room as my mother was a teacher, students and youth do not see much news. Of course there are new implimations of T.V's in the class room displaying much needed news. One: Channelone.

I want to create a news site based around my home town and area that can provide local and worldwide news to the youth of McDowell County and hopefully to kids/students all around the world.

I don't expect it to be popular, and I don't expect to make any money off of it, I am not even putting ads up.

If this service can change one person life, a story by Bill gates states the news showed him the tragedy of the Rwandian genocide. It caused him to pitch in millions of dollars to help.

I just want to do something good with my time other then site on the forum and make stupid remarks such as "Your banned your not wanted" to great members of this forum.

I think that I was rude and my behavior towards Sygon in the past was immature and not wanted. I am sorry ;)

Your idea is going to fail, unless you have proper news reporters in the real world .. places like Iraq where they risk their own lives.

I assume you'll get your news from the net, unless you do what I said above - you'll always be late.

Technically.. You will loose something.

1) The money you spent on domain hosting.
2) If you can't code/slice or anything, the money on that, scripts and getting your layout coded.

Does MSN, yahoo and all them sites have news reporters around the world risking their own lives? no the BBC and other major news places do, most of the big ones don't. (btw big and major are diffrent)

Anyway I'll be happy to help, not much happend with news crib.
