Yeah. Its quite annoying actually, as you'll probably be surprised by the amount of secret admirers you get.

Its easier for girls, often, boys tend to make it more obvious than girls.

Ask your freind to ask her out. Alwayz works :) and if she says no just avoid her also what helps alot with rejection (I got this from my freind as it has never hapend to me obv ) lol is alchol xD

You can't make someone like you. So, if they like you, hopefully they'll tell you && then you guys can start something from there. Or, you can tell her how you feel about her, see if she feels the same way. If she doesn't, move on, there are plenty other girls waiting out there for you.
