You may have seen some of my other poems on here, if you have you'll know that they're rooted in middle-English speech and innuendo, so yeah they can be pretty confusing. This one's much easier to understand though (I think so anyway) and doesn't have so many specific references so hopefully you'll be able to follow it. Basically it's about waiting 3 years - 12 seasons - for a girl and the feelings that build up in that time. Enjoy ^^

Reciprocation And For't Lusting.

My lady of wonder in a land s'far away,
Born of my dreams th'art truly,
For we share in intimacies of the mind's eye
And mine eyes physical doth behold thee from such distance
As to be blistering, jealous and cruelly
The time ticks slow
For a countdown to our acquaintance.
Foreign lady I wish not to be foreign to you
But close as to give thee something more foreign than a tongue,
And to cater for you
With a meat so widely and in length hung.
Thou dost seem great in hunger for't
Unsated in 12 seasons,
Yet fully do I pledge to fulfil such wanting thoughts
Reminiscing our years knowing thee without having known you
And knowing nothing of the missing reasons.
Possible I pray that you accept me within
Ne'er to refuse entry this kindly sir who would
Wish thee a good ride,
From thy height do drop onto the highest point
And tip to base do hide, rhythmically,
Slowly, quickly,
Thy pillar support built so thickly.
So far West thou dost reside,
Movement brings us closer in my dreams, thrusting,
Reciprocation - and for't, lusting.
