I've designed a possible idea for my eMage future site and I was wondering what you guys think. Obviously I want constructive criticism only. I don't mind if you say you hate it but I'd like you to say why if you say that! Personally I'm not sure how good it is myself so I came to ask you guys. + rep for all constructive comments. There is no watermark but don't be pointless and steal it there isn't really much point eh? :)

To be honest, it hurts my eyes, maybe less of the neon colors.
I can't read nothing on it, it makes my eyes all blurry.
Maybe remove the blurred text, make it bigger, and no neon colors! Thats one of the basic rules for web design :P
Start again and dont use strong lighting effects.

Ok point taken, thanks. I'll re-think the colours when I go to re-do the layout.

Is it just me or did I emphasise I wanted CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Please not to post pointless things.

Ah well, I'll take all your points in the text wasn't intentionally made blurry I just notices that and as for the neon colours, OK I'll re-think that. I was going for something a bit different but obviously it failed miserably, ah well. I'm welcome to any other comments people.
+ rep to all apart from RYANNNNN. :)

Thanks, I don't need the rep.
Didn't mean to ruin it for you but maybe make it bigger?
IF its not squished it would be easier on the eyes.

No seriously its totally OK. I'd rather you said it was a load of rubbish and doesn't look good than say its amazing just so I'd feel as if I'd achieved something I didn't. I'll look at making it bigger, thank you dentafrice for them constructive points I can build on. :)
Make a nice clean one, it seems, uh..

Looks okay but I think personally that a shade of green would be more suitable for your layout? And also there is too much purple, it's okay if you want a purple colour scheme but the idea of a colour scheme is to have a scheme of colours :P not just purple :P lol - no offense
EDIT: +Rep for the effort! - Gotta spread

I don't like the bitmap font you used, it's off putting to the rest of the layout.
I like it, though, 'cept for the above mentioned.

Seems very confusing mate, the colours could do with a change.

Thats really messy mate , Lemme give you some tips
First
- Get a pen + paper
- Decide whats going to go on the site
- Decide what is the thing you want people to go to first
- Make it nice and easy to use
Second
- Plan it out content wise
- Get your code ready
- Spank it on
- Then glue your graphics in place
Donno if that will help but its how I do it and try to make it
following a smile eg clean , pro and what not :P
~com - over and out
