Didnt really know were to post this, i thought it fitted better here as it is about Xbox360.

Well we have a projected tv w.e, its like a plasma one but aint, its projected summin lol. Anyway we were advised about a year ago not to use our PS2s on it as it breaks it apperntly? is this true and if so will it happen if i use my 360 on it?

I can't really see why it would make it break, or the PS2 really..

Who adivsed you not to use a PS2 on it? Your best bet is asking them, or just trying it to see.

When we bought it from currys they advised us not to use our ps2s on it coz the shapes of the game etc burn into the screen and stay there? :S

O_o I've never heard that happen before, but then I'm no expert

I guess all you can do is ask them, or just try it really.

Thats the same on every televison after hard use! I say do a screen test for 10 seconds or so, then see what happens.

Yea this happens to all TV's if the image is the same for too long, I doubt it'll effect it too badly, depends though, what do your project onto? A screen or just a wall?

I don't dare lol, if it broke my dad would kill me. My mum has told me I have to post on a supprot forum before I try it tog et evidence that it dosent happen, which is why i posted here lol.

The screen aint like other TVs it's al floppy when you touch it :S

edit: neil, it's not actually one with a projector above it lke they have in schools its just a normal looking TV put is projected onto from inside.

You are advised not to use rear-projection TV's when playing games that have images that are there for long periods of time.

For example games that have an always on HUD or a Fighting Game where your health is displayed.

I guess its up to you, I havent seen it happen before but thats just me
