k so im stuck on this question - how wud i arrange this properly

t

x

t + b(s - 1) + (s - 1)

and then

t + (s - 1)

x

t + b(s - 1)

i need 2 arrange it properly but i cant coz i just jumble it all up n end up wid rubbish

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking for; what d'you mean "arrange properly"?

If you mean simplify the expressions then you need to first multiply out the brackets.

if your asking for this

t x t+b(s-1)+(s-1)
=>t x t + b.s - b + s - 1
=>tsqaured+tbs-bt+st-1
