Sociology

Does anyone study that at school? It's really interesting. You learn about peoples emotions, and the world and how familys work and things. Does anyone else study it except me?

I will be studying it next year ;) so is it any good?

It is, we do it for one year in Year 9 (this year) so we can find out a bit about it and if we would like to choose it for Year 10.

From this year we've done things like


- Family Problems
- Why people become obese
- Miagration and movement

This term we're doing about Big Brother and how people cope being under pressure and things.

I took sociology only because I'm going to do psycology at A Level.. it's alright in some parts but some of it can just get repetetive and boring. Three's a lot of essay writing and that. I think it also depends on the teacher

I am taking psychology and the two subjects are related, though it sounds like psychology is better.

I'm a sociology freak :) I love it, I have A+'s only there. It's one of the most interesting subjects in school. We got that subject at uni and I just love it, sometimes I wish I would of go study sociology and not languages but hey.

Doing it for GCSE and I hate it. Mostly because they switched teachers in the middle of term and I don't like the new teacher.

i wish i picked to do it at college now i only picked one course :O feels stupid but have to get my g.c.s.e.s first

I am currently doing it and it is crap, you just do about poverty, crime, work ect.. can be abit boring and its like eughh so just don't take it

You will probably like it at first but it can be srsly crap, I only chose it because it was a new lesson.
