How do you all think it went?

I think I done ok, accept my calculator wouldn't do the right thing :x.

What paper did you sit?

I did 5-7. All year I have been doing 3-6 stuff, and they went on Tuesday:

"Hey, do the 5-7 paper. It's easier to get a level 6." So I did it. Never again, lol.

Paper One - AH. Couldn't do like.. 75&#37; of it. I'm terrible at maths. Like.. what the hell is "2x (2+3) = y". Anyway. yeah.

Paper Two - WOO! I could do like.. 80% of it.

First test was easy did all questions
Second test harder
Mental Maths was easy as hell

I did 4-6, I got asked to do 5-7 but I said I'd feel more comfortable with 4-6.
The mental maths i was like wth cause i didnt revise much on it :P.
Paper one was okay, but as for paper 2 it was so easy i actually answered all the questions on that. -yeah thats a first for me.-
Btw i'm year 8 so imma think i did okay for only being a year 8, my school does the SAT's early cause they think year 8 is a waste of a year and so we have more time for our GCSE's.
But dreading tomorrow, richard III, I'm so rubbish at essays.

Maths has never been my strong point, I hate the god damn subject, the lessons last forever!

I'm doing 6-8 tier, and here is my verdict:

Mental Maths - OK, didn't really have any trouble. I reckon I got between 25 and 29 out of 30 :)

Paper 1 - Bahhh! I found this so hard :( I was alright up until Q16, only dropping a couple of marks here and there, but from 16 I knew pretty much none of it :P

Paper 2 - I found this way easier than Q2, I think I left one or two questions out though at the end. Considering it was calculator, I was suprised how easy it was.

mental was alrite, paper one was easy and i was kwite proud of myself answering the tricky ones in tier 6-8 and then the calc paper was a lot more difficult and with 20 mins to go i had almost had enuff of sats :P nothing i read went into my brain lol. But i finished and was KNACKERED!

i knew about 85&#37;, 10% i knew the method but was stuck for some reason,5% was total guess

grrr,i did the 2004 papers and was off a lvl 8 by 4 marks, i don't think i'll get even close this time

that coin question with the guy that has 1/4 possiblility thing coins? i found that quite easy :S
the 5-7 paper one was quite easy, lost a few marks near the middle but ok.
paper 2 was easy but got harder. i dont know algbra very well and my brain stopped working lol. but i finished 10 pages in 10minutes, suprising well i thought. mental maths was ok. some were a bit hard. i thing i got 38 on the non calc, 32 on the calc and about 23 on mental

it was really easy lol fingers crossed level 6 lol and if i get 90% or more we get to take higher level paper apparantly thats what my maths teacher said lol

6-8 was quite easy actualy the only one i couldnt do was make 25p with more than 4 coins and the chance of taking a 1p out was 1/4 .. im still racking me brains now on how to do it :(

non calc paper was hard
calc paper was easy
and the mental maths was a joke.
