its just a badge which sheriffs have. i guess habbo used the design to show that hobbas had power over others.

Originally the badge is a sheriff badge and the hobba badge is related to that sheriff badge.

Oh sweet Jesus... Don't tell me you actually believe that is a Hobba Badge? Let me direct you to back when Hobbas existed (if you were around back then). Hobbas used to describe the badge as a Sheriff Badge, because they were like Sheriffs of the hotel, the police force. Also, I am guessing some of you have bad eye sight or bad at telling differences, the Sheriff Badge is a 5-pointed star, while a Hobba Badge is 6.
If this is meant to be funny... It isn't, just a waste of a thread "/

Agreed with GommeInc also, that badge has been the traditional sheriffs badge for like.. The whole wild west! Watch some wild west movies and look out for the sheriff; look what his badge is. :) I don't think that Spielberg rips Habbo..

It's not a sheriff, it's just the cliché Police force badge. I assume it's relative to America as theirs developed from the early sheriff's badge. Also, haven't you noticed all of the badges are relevant to their meaning? VIP badge, well that's obviously it's a identity card or whatever, clipboard for the council. The Hotel staff badges are meant to represent the one's hotel staff have in real life. The X badges are meant to look like of what I believe to be those plasticy clear badges with the painted logo on it or something. I know the helpers in our infant school made one's like that with us.

the episode was made in 2003 (when hobbas still around) so its possible that they ripped the idea from habbo

Does this thread still exist!? Seriously, I thought this died out ages ago with the conclusion that it was a load of rubbish. I still believe in that conclusion, but hey why not go and email Comedy Central if you REALLY want to know!
