This has nothing to do with web design just a little flame \o/

You may know me and quite a lot of people from the web designing forum are making a radio called POWERadio.

Well Dan (lolcopters) has just told me about a website called POWERadio.co.uk, owned by Jamie. on this forum (domain owned by TimmyMallet).

Please do not think that it has anything to do with the site which we are making, as they have just stolen our name to probably get some popularity. They have blatantly copied our site's name so they don't deserve any popularity rly, so please don't go on their site if you respect any of the people involved in the real POWERadio. So yeah...

Yes I have...But when I have jamie on MSN and he is very eager to use POWERpanel I think he knows of POWERpanel.

Yeah, thats fairly annoying its a shame that happened but there isn't much you can do. If they bought it due to the fact that it was your project deliberately (I'm not saying they did) then that is very unfair and disappointing, however if this was just an odd coincidence then you can't do much other than try to promote the radio under the powerbrand separately to make it obvious which site is part of which set of projects. However I hope that Poweradio is coming along well and I wish you the best of luck with it. :)

Yes, I've seen Poweradio discussions on here that go back quite a while however I cannot say who "copied" who. I don't know you well so I'm not going to make assumptions but I don't really think Simon would steal that name as "Power" products have been discussed on here that go months back and thats what Simon chose to name his "brand" of products. To be honest at the end of the day its the internet and things like this happen you just both need to separate the two projects and make them both separate along with your own work.

When a project called Poweradio is announced to be in progress on the forum whats the likelyness that someone from the forum is coincidently goin to register the same name without knowin the projext exists
