myHABBO BETA Design

Hai.

The myHABBO team is slowly growing so I thought I'd better make a layout quickly so we can start on the site's coding.

I designed this at around 2AM last night:

Oh and I just thought I'd point out - The domain was not chosen to compete against myBobba it just fits the site quite well. Also, the logo (which may resemble myBobba's logo) will probably been changed soon anyways so please don't complain that we have ripped them or something.

Well we are definately having a backend and I wanted to give it a name. Most Habbo backends are called "houskeeping", but that seems a bit too dull. So I thought I would call our backend "theallseeingeye" like Habbo's new(er) backend.

Also, I've been revising for most of today, got my GCSE mocks this week and I have an Economics test first thing tomorrow -_-.

Anyways as for useful comments maybe make the nav a slightly different shade so you can differentiate from the normal header... it seems to "teogether-ish" for my liking... but otherwise pretty good :) simple and pretty - oh an maybe a different font for the content possibly?

Nice design; although it seems inspired a lot from MyBobba (the logo is the same, almost)

The backend name is pointless, the reason why Habbo changed it was because it is a unlikely name for someone to enter. You should think of a unique name, otherwise it is pointless.

Slicing is the best way and so are tables. Would you rather have one big image that takes 10 seconds to load it all, or loads of little ones that take 3 seconds?

Not a lie, could be a matter of opinion? Tables are much better than iframes still.

Tables have nothing to do with iFrames...

"Tables" is a way of coding a site using cells in a table where as iFrames are HTML code to display data. Two completely different things.

ANYWAYS, update. I've sent the beginning of the myHABBO Homes script to Dan and he is going to play with the code as he is good at JS and I don't know much :)

Habbo's tech team and Becs have told me that we are NOT allowed to do the myHABBO Home's thing with their images, so I'm not completely sure whats going to happen...

You could always create your own pixel versions, I think habbo / sulake did't thing kids could code somthing like the habbo homes system both better and faster then they did them selfs so there just trying to make it harder for people :P .

Tbh, dont copy habbo home. Well copy their ideas, not their graphics. That way its ideas, I bet it wasnt their idea to do many things they have done. Just dont use anything thats theirs
