Am I the only one who thinks this is a terrible room? Nothing in it seems to go with anything else or be there for any specific purpose.

I dont realy like it , it looks random and wierd, it has good stacking though.
Usealy arent the room of the week chosen if they have something related to the furni / stuff that came out recently , there are far more better rooms out there.
Maybe the fact he won the X centre redisgn comp and has unreleased posters may have helped:rolleyes:

glorified storage room.

glorified storage room.

Exactly.

The reason I say this is because I posted a room review on the habbox site on friday saying basically what has been said above, and the amount of "OMG ITZ A GR8 ROOM! U IZ A CRAP REVIEWER etc" comments was mad. I removed it because if that many people hate it I dont paticularly want to destroy the reputation of the articles dept

Yeah, it is a bit of a mess.
Yet the things like stacking & the cabbage tree are excellent, & I can see why he named it 'Labatory'. :)

Your not the only one. Its looks like a storage room every thing looks a mess noting goes together, and how that become room of the week is amazing..

I dont think you guys are getting the point of it. It may not be the best room for the category "room of the week," but it's not supposed to be all neat and organized like all of the other ones, hence the name "Teenstein's LABORATORY" Last i knew, labs didnt have comfortable seating or organized structures. He followed his theme that he was going for, and I think he did a great job. Tee's a great room designer if you've seen any of his other rooms.

I quite like it. Better then rooms with full petal floors or full of hollys. Least _Tee_ shows something new and intresting. I just don't like the balls.

I love this room. I like the fact that it's a little different. The stacking and the overall furni choice/combinations gives it a lot of appeal. I also like how you have to look at different parts of the room seperately to get the whole idea of the room. It's like an art exhibit. Not all room of the weeks have to be neat and proper.

personally i think the room is actually quite good, its stuck to a theme of a laboratory because of how complicated everything looks in it. I know its a mess but you have to admit thats what science rooms are like at school.

I Agree, its not that good but a part of me likes it.

i like it. without all the mess, you wouldnt be able to tell if its a lab or not.

some neat stacking...but its all been done before so nothing special really...
being the nice guy i am i would give it a 6/10 lol....but then again does anyone really take room of the week seriously? they let people used stolen designs and ideas XD

Some nice stacking, remove the extra nick nacks, make it less random :)

Bandwagon thankupls. As soon as someone puts forward a point saying it's good, the whole forum seems to like it ;)

As for the "it's supposed to be messy" point, I think that is true to an extent, but how many labs have you seen that have stacks of balls or pet bowls? Theres a line between a messily-designed room and a bad room.

there is a limit to the different kinds of furni you can use but i don't really understand what they are meant to represent :P

just realised i like the periodic table he made with the stikies :P

Rather than have randomly placed furni like a Xmas pud in a snowglobe (What the..) I think he should've stuck to bunsen burners and things you would actually find in a lab. Not two fans sticking out of a smoke machine.
