ive read a guide somewhere on this, cant remember whether it was tip it or ruehq...

when you reach Jad, its best to stand on the northern side of the italy rock. he then spawns on the southern side and you can just run round the rock and attack him

actually thats false. you know its a range attacked if you hear a sound. if you dont hear a sound its a mage attack. the mage attack doesnt make a sound until it hits you. gl with your next cape attempt. trust me you wont wear it once u get a good trimmed 99 cape.
