Paul Jewell has resigned as the Wigan Manager!

Despite leading his team to safety this season, he has sensationally quit from the role as Manager of Wigan Athletic.

This was the first time in 6 seasons where his team had not improved on the last season's performances.

What a loss for Wigan!
Any bets for the next manager? Hope it's Coleman personally!

I'm quite surprised, I thought he would carry on seeings as he has done the hard work now.

I'm wondering if he decided to resign a while back, no matter what the circumstance was at the end of the year, because of the situation with West Ham.

Their Chairman is apparently having some Meeting with the press around about now.. so we might find out, eh :p

Hmm, he was good imo. He might off led his team to survival in the premiership and out to find something better?
