Aren't they going to stop making episodes after the movie?
Nah, they said in the link.
But will Fox continue to do it for a 20th season -- and beyond?
"If I were to bet, I'd say yes," Groening adds. "But animation requires such a staggering amount of attention to detail and time that we can't drag our heels for too long. You see, ultimately, my goal isn't just to tie 'Gunsmoke' but for everybody connected with 'The Simpsons' to be as rich and bitter as anyone in Hollywood. And, you know, so far, so good."

i've always been a fan :P
I love it, i never get bored of the newer episodes. But i find it gets boring when you watch some of the really really earlier ones where you can see some of today's technology hasnt quite made it into the creaters room.

I used to love the simpsons but it's been terrible since the late 90's-early 00's.
Really, really terrible I might add. I try to tolerate it but I just can't - it's not funny anymore. The show in its prime was gold though, better than anything else.
