New here so dont bite my head off!!

When are applications going to be open for DJ'in once more. I am very much interested in presenting but both radio stations have no jobs going.

Check out Fresh and Vibrant Spin1028 at www.spin1028.bebo.com (http://www.spin1028.bebo.com) and www.myspace.com/destinationspin (http://www.myspace.com/destinationspin) ...!!

Also DJs who are currently on Habbo - you need to play more decent tunes! Don't play stupidity cheesey tracks. If you want a lesson in music then hit me up *removed* (remove the spaces)

All the best,

Job applications for UK DJs have recently closed.
http://www.habboxlive.com/v4/uk_dj.php
If you are from the UK, keep checking the link above to see when they have re-opened or check the Habbox Today section on Habbox.Com or the HabboxLive.Com News Update section.

However, Internationl DJs may still apply.
If you are an internetal DJ, please check this link:

Lol no-one's "flaming". I just found it humorous he said it in such a way :P

That's like me just appearing and saying I could offer you lessons in management or something... :S lol

Thanks HobJob for the info. Also, thanks --MAD-- for your assistance in re-locating this thread lol.

How do you guys broadcast Habbox on the net. As I understand it, you stream to a server which you direct to Shoutcast (pwd by Winamp) but what server do you use and how do you get the DJs to go on air from their place??

Just looking at putting Spin as internet radio and running it as a similar format to Habbox -still considering it lol. Many thanks.

You have to purchase a shoutcast or icecast server. They allow anyone to broadcast over then net.
A DJ can connect using ever:

Winamp and Shoutcast Source.
The shoutcast source is a plugin available from www.shoutcast.com which you can open up on Winamp.

Sam Broadcaster.
Sam broadcaster doesnt require shoutcast plugin, you just use the encoders on there.

Virtual DJ.
I have never used this.

There may be more way but these are the main 2/3

Anymore questions, PM me and ill be happy to help!

Thanks dude, that info was helpful. With regards to purchasing a shoutcast or icecast server - I don't suppose you know how much they charged do you?

Also I have heard of Sam broadcaster, though I gather it is not free so will have to research on that.

Have you heard of software called 'StationPlaylist' at all ? I've got the demo version but do you know if this is any good for type of broadcasts??

I'll PM you my email addy, maybe you could send me details through EMail.

Thanks Very Much,
Regards,
ct
